Duties & Responsibilities

  • Have full ownership of the talent acquisition life cycle; from sourcing, engaging, and assessing candidates, to influencing the hire and providing general service excellence to all stakeholders
  • Partner with the hiring manager to determine position specifications and provide recommendations on possible approaches to the search or candidate requirements
  • Foster positive working relationships with line management to understand the operational and technical needs of the respective divisions
  • Assist in the development, writing, and marketing of job descriptions and job postings
  • Evaluate applicant qualifications against position requirements and determine who to move forward with based on the recruitment process
  • Proactively research and evaluate new sourcing and research ideas and methods to create innovative sourcing strategies

Requirements & Skills

  • Relevant higher degree + 5 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of human resources principles, policies, practices, issues, laws, and regulations, especially as they pertain to employment activities
  • Ability to articulate thoughts, offer persuasive arguments and effectively communicate to varying audience levels
  • Independently manage multiple competing priorities and prioritize - you will be in high demand!
  • Experience identifying networking leads for passive talent using multiple internet sources such as niche sites, organizations, associations, education, blogs, user groups, specific industry news, etc.
