Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detailoriented CAD Engineer specializing in Panel Manufacturing to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and comprehensive panel manufacturing drawings in accordance with project requirements. The role requires a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and prior experience in the field of panel fabrication.
Responsibilities:
Panel Manufacturing Drawings:
Generate detailed and precise panel manufacturing drawings based on project specifications.
Collaborate with design teams to ensure that drawings align with project requirements and industry standards.
Utilize drafting software and tools effectively to produce clear and comprehensive documentation.
Sheet Metal Fabrication:
Demonstrate a solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques materials and processes.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that drawings are feasible for fabrication and assembly.
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in the fabrication process.
Project Collaboration:
Collaborate with engineers designers and other team members to gather information and specifications for accurate drafting.
Provide support to senior engineers in the development and refinement of panel designs.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with project requirements.
Implement quality control measures to prevent errors and discrepancies in manufacturing drawings.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of design specifications revisions and other relevant information.
Create and update engineering documentation including bills of materials (BOMs) and design change records.
Experience:
Minimum 6 months prior experience in the field of panel fabrication is essential.
Proficiency in using drafting software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in sheet metal fabrication.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve potential design and fabrication issues.
