Our Expectations for the Role:
- We are seeking a candidate who is passionate to learn and work around public policy plus PR. A motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Public Policy Intern. In this role, you will work closely with the founders and other members of the executive team to support the day-to-day operations of the office.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments for the founders, help manage and maintain the founder's calendar and conduct research and prepare briefing materials for the founder's meetings and events.
- The candidate should be skilled in Research Analysis & Content Development and can conduct research and analyze data to generate insights and develop content.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in both research and content development, and be able to translate complex data into clear, concise, and engaging content. You will be responsible for tracking analyzing and reporting policy and social trends related to designated sectors on a day-to-day basis.
- The candidate will maintain weekly and monthly research reports on clients related to focus sectors. Develop reports and other content assets that showcase our expertise and thought leadership in the policy and sectoral trends space.
- The candidate will be responsible for drafting various communications-related materials and analysis reports for designated clients and will accordingly be responsible for managing all content and documentation-related requirements for their designated clients.
- Additionally, he/she will be responsible for identifying stakeholders from different organizations and managing a database for the same.
- Staying up to date with current market news and trends and continuously improving your knowledge tank.
Key Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Political Science/Economics/English Hons or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to study market trends Passionate about public policy and PR
- Understanding of documentation and stakeholder management.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft various content materials and analysis reports Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and take ownership.
- Adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn.
Note: This is a full-time paid internship opportunity with a duration of 3-6 months.
