Ven India projects and Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr structural design engineer to join one of our reputed client partner. As a leading engineering company in India, we specialize in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for a wide range of construction projects.

The Sr structural design engineer will be responsible for overseeing and leading the design and analysis of various structural components and systems. This includes collaborating with clients and architects to develop design plans, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of structural components and systems for a variety of construction projects
• Collaborate with clients and architects to develop design plans that meet project specifications and requirements
• Conduct site inspections to assess existing structures and identify any potential issues or challenges
• Prepare and review detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications for structural elements
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of design deliverables
• Perform engineering analysis and calculations to determine loadings and sizing of structural elements
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout the design process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in structural design engineering, preferably within the construction industry
• Proficient in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and regulations, including ACI, ASCE, and IS
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
