Job Description:

Main responsibilities:

- To present and promote our brands both to direct and in-direct sales channels.

- To develop new business relationships and maintain existing relationships with our prospects and customers.

- To achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

- To build very close relationship with clients, direct and indirect with the clear objective of making our brands the preferred choice of all specification and design customers.

- To spend 80% of your time out of the office in face to face meetings. Travel is a key part of the job, and overnight stays may be required.

- To be responsible for your own lead generation and appointment making. Your sales head will also assign existing accounts to be managed.

- You must possess drive, motivation, and acute attention to detail in ensuring that all sales and project opportunities for our brands are captured and explored.

- To manage and maintain the CRM platform in order to create a healthy sales pipeline with accurate data.

- To create and be accountable for all customer presentations, proposals, contracts, and other documentation following company's procedure and process.

- To keep abreast of developments in the lighting and lighting control market and feedback competitor activity to your line manager and marketing departments.

Specialist knowledge:

- Good understanding of architectural lighting and how different lighting devices could serve different needs in an architectural project.

- Good understanding of lighting control protocols including but not limited to DMX, DALI and Phase Cut.

- Soft Skills and Personality traits: Excellent negotiation and sales skills.

- The candidate must have very good interpersonal communication skills to retain current customer database and add new prospects.

- Language Fluency: Proficiency in English is a must. Others would be an asset.

Objectives: To achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets.

Working Hours: Flexible

Travel requirements: Frequent travel within west of India ( Pune/Surat/ Vadodara / Ahmedabad)
