Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Finance Manager located in Bengaluru. This role involves developing financial strategies, forecasting financial performance, managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic guidance to the executive team. The Senior Finance Manager also oversees accounting functions, ensures compliance with financial regulations, and contributes to the overall financial well-being of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Advanced knowledge of financial processes, procedures and controls.
Prepare and present financial reports to management, including budget analysis, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting.
Manage the budgeting process, development of annual operating budgets and monitoring of budget performance.
Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
Oversee accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's / Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA is a plus.
Experience of 10+ years in a senior finance role.
Strong understanding of financial principles, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
