Job description
Role & responsibilities · Arranging test environments to execute the test cases. · Doing functional testing · Analyzing, writing, and executing test cases, processes, and scenarios. · Conducting review meetings, preparing summary reports, and communicating with the software team. · Error tracking and bug reporting to developers and other team members. · Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved · Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. · Documentation on Confluence. · Test Automation Framework definition, design, and development · Ability to write, debug, and run the Automation scripts on their own based on the given requirements · Testing techniques include functional, regression, sanity/smoke, batch, API, Performance, integration and system testing
Preferred candidate profile · Experience: 3 - 6 years · Good knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, standards and strategies. · Good knowledge of any automated testing framework (Cypress, TestNG, Robot Framework, Selenium etc.). · Experience in MySQL, MongoDB, and SQL · Experience in API testing · Expected to know QA best practices. CI/CD concepts etc. · Basic handling of Jira for ticket management and Confluence for documentation. · Must have Hands-on experience in Test Automation Framework · Experience in Database testing, Performance testing · Knowledge of implementing DevOps Oriented Automation Frameworks · Experience and Strong understanding of Sprints/Agile and track in Kanban/Scrum as needed. · Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical skills · Collaborative decision-making and good judgment Strong time, interpersonal, and people skills · Experience with client-server environments. · Knowledge of any Test Management tools like JIRA Xray, Jira QMetry &, etc.Job tags
