Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to assume the role of Head - Hub Operations. As the leader of our mother hub, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing critical aspects of our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing both B2B and B2C operations, possess leadership experience with large teams, and demonstrate expertise in E-commerce start-up environments.

Job Responsibilities:

Warehousing Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end warehousing operations of the mother hub.
• Strategically plan and optimize storage space to ensure efficient handling of goods.
• Implement best practices for loading, unloading, and inventory placement.

Process Improvements:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization & lead initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Streamline workflows and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for all hub activities.
• Continuously monitor and analyze processes, making data-driven decisions to improve performance.

Inventory Management:

• Develop & implement robust inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies & losses.
• Utilize advanced technology & systems for real-time tracking and reporting of inventory levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and replenishment strategies.

P&L Management:

• Take ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the hub, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
• Analyze spends and financial reports, identify key performance indicators, and develop strategies to improve profitability.
• Implement cost-effective measures without compromising on service quality.

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for hub operations aligned with overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure operational strategies support company goals.

Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and collaboration within the hub.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and talent development programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. IIT/IIM will be a plus.
• 4 - 7 years of overall experience, while having proven leadership experience overseeing hub or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of warehousing principles, inventory management, and process optimization.
• Demonstrated success in implementing cost-effective solutions and achieving financial targets.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage and motivate a diverse team.
