Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Billing Manager to oversee the financial aspects of our HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong analytical skills. As a Billing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, managing accounts receivable, and coordinating with project managers to track project expenses and profitability. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing processes and resolve any billing discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the billing process for HVAC projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Generate and send invoices to clients based on project milestones and contract terms
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments
• Work closely with project managers to track project expenses and ensure accurate billing
• Review contracts and project documentation to verify billing accuracy
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes with clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve billing processes and systems
• Prepare regular reports on billing activity, project profitability, and accounts receivable aging
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to billing and accounting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as a Billing Manager or similar role, preferably in the HVAC
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Knowledge of HVAC industry terminology and practices is a plus
