Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and creative Interior Designer with a focus on construction projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, with a specific emphasis on construction and architectural elements. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional spaces that meet our clients' needs and adhere to construction regulations.


Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to understand project requirements and constraints.
Develop design concepts in line with construction parameters and industry standards.


Space Planning:
Analyze and assess available space to determine the best utilization and functionality.
Create detailed floor plans, layouts, and 2D/3D renderings for client presentations and construction teams.
Material and Finishes Selection:
Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the project's design and construction goals.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials within budgetary constraints.


Construction Documentation:
Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications for contractors and construction teams.
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Management Interaction:
Conduct meetings with management to understand their preferences, requirements, and budgetary considerations.
Present design proposals, including mood boards, color schemes, and material samples, and incorporate client feedback.

Budget Management:


Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective design solutions.
Work closely with the procurement team to obtain competitive quotes for materials and services.
Project Supervision:
Oversee and monitor construction progress to ensure that the design vision is being implemented accurately.
Address any design-related issues that may arise during the construction phase.
Continuous Professional Development:
Stay abreast of industry trends, new materials, and design technologies.
Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.
