Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Coimbatore We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a manufacturing engineer, you will be responsible for handling the implementation of specialized systems, manage technical support, drive innovation, and optimize processes for enhanced efficiency and quality. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria such as efficiency and speed. Represent and fulfil core BU requirements from manufacturing engineering standpoint. Drive ECN/ECR from initiation to implementation Study production and machine requirements Develop and test effective automated and manual systems. Design and install equipment. Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources. Integrate disparate systems (e.g., equipment handling, transport) Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and network performance. Resolve issues and delays in production. Find ways to reduce costs and maximize quality. Train staff in new and existing processes Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers. Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations. Upgrade systems and processes with new technology Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including senior management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and upcoming milestones. Requirements Four-year degree and two to five years prior work as Manufacturing engineer in a capital equipment / precision machine tool manufacturing setup Strong technical background from manufacturing engg standpoint with the ability to understand drawings, BOM and effectively communicate technical requirements / concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in providing manufacturing solutions for precision machine tools with mechanical , electrical & electronic systems, with the ability to coordinate and prioritize projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Proficient in CAD, SolidWorks, Autocad and Arena experience preferred Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
