ABOUT THE ROLE : As an SQL Developer, you will develop ORACLE SQL complex queries, stored procedures, implementing views, functions, jobs and managing transactions. create custom reports to enhance organizational productivity. You will also be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
Key Job Responsibilities - MUST have 3+ years of Oracle SQL developer.
- Good exposure in writing PLSQL/SQL
- Develop high-quality database solutions.
- Use T-SQL to develop and implement procedures and functions, writing complex queries.
- Involve in creating and managing tables, indexes, db links and privileges.
- Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.
- Research required data.
- Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables.
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Suggest new queries improvement / optimization of queries.
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
- Program databases, query data and manage data with T SQL.
- Ensure high levels of data availability.
- Database backup and recovery.
- Analyze log files to identify performance issues.
- Should be able to perform SQL profiling
- Schedule jobs to automate different database relate activities including backup, monitoring database health, disk space, backup verification.
- Ability to establish best practices and identify gaps to drive process improvements.
- Prior experience in troubleshooting Production failures, specifically working on SLA based delivery in Operations/Support project.
- Hands-on experience in operation management (Dev & Ops team) to ensure project timelines, team productivity and quality of deliverables.
- Provide timely scheduled management reporting.
- Investigate exceptions with regard to asset movements.
- Preparing the mapping documents for the existing stored procedures.
- Should be able to perform SQL profiling
- Analyse the performance issues of existing stored procedure and fine tune performance of the system
- Identifies and proposes database system improvements and changes.
- Builds and executes data queries for business partners.
- Implements systems changes, upgrades, and modifications according to business needs.
- Maintain active relationships with stakeholders to understand business requirements, lead requirement gathering meetings and review designs with the stake holders
- Perform technical design reviews and code reviews
- Perform peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability and the use of best practices
- Participate in collaborative technical discussions that focus on design, architecture, and development
- Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes
- Troubleshoot software application and technical issues - identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements.
