The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. Recruit and On-board new hires Conduct performance management and provide feedback Manage Payroll and benefits for employees and all government statutory compliances.
Key Responsibilities:
The main duties of the role are as follows:
- Plan and coordinate an organization's workforce to deliver world-class IT services to our clients.
- Communicate the position of each layer and department location to the other layers departments.
- Enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. Coordinate and supervise the work of specialists and support staff
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counselling employees and supervisors
- Supports organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counselling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analysing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
- Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation programs.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
- Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.
Skills required:
- Good written & verbal communication skills is required.
- Proven work experience required as managerial role.
- Knowledge of HR systems & databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation & presentation skills.
- Knowledge of statutory compliances, labor law & HR practices.
