Job description
We are looking for a Power BI developer. Our development team consists of developers from reputed institutions. Most of the developers are graduates (with advanced degrees) of US universities, IIT, IIIT, and BIT Mesra. Responsibilities: Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the reporting needs of a multi-tenant social recognition platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into visually appealing and insightful reports. Azure Integration: Leverage Azure services for optimal Power BI integration and performance. Work closely with Azure resources to ensure seamless data flow and connectivity for reporting purposes. Multi-Tenant Configuration: Configure Power BI reports to cater to the specific needs of a multi-tenant environment with a large user base. Implement security measures to ensure data privacy and access controls in a multi-user context. Data Modeling and Optimization: Perform data modeling to structure data for efficient reporting and analysis. Optimize data models and queries to enhance report performance and responsiveness. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for developed reports, data models, and configurations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong portfolio of developed reports. In-depth knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report optimization. Familiarity with Azure services and integration with Power BI. Some experience or knowledge of self-hosting or hosting on AWS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in Power BI and Azure. Experience working on social recognition platforms or similar large-scale, user-centric applications. Familiarity with best practices for multi-tenant configurations. Experience or knowledge of hosting solutions on AWS to provide insights and support in a multi-cloud environment.
