Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Accountant with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team. As an Accountant at DCS Group, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks. This is a full-time position based in Satara, Maharashtra, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Business acumen and ability to make informed financial decisions
- Experience with tax preparation and financial statement analysis
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation and account reconciliation
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions and ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Process invoices, reconcile bank statements, and manage account receivables and payables
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, general ledgers, and trial balances
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes
- Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures
