The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) is the apex body of the Indian Foundry Industry. Established in 1950, IIF aims to promote education, research, training, and development opportunities for Indian foundrymen. Headquartered in Kolkata, IIF serves the entire country through its 26 Chapters under four Regional Offices located at Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai & Chennai. The institute is a member of the World Foundrymen Organisation (WFO) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Editorial Staff member at IIF in Kolkata. The Editorial Staff will be responsible for communicating with various stakeholders, writing and editing content, conducting research, and promoting IIF through marketing activities.
Qualifications
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience in editorial work and content creation
- Research skills to support editorial work and publications
- coordination with press
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or in English
- Experience in the foundry industry is a plus
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in content development, proficiency in additional languages, and knowledge of social media platforms and analytics.
