Job Title : Finance Manager
Location: Electronics City, Bangalore
NoPo Nanotechnologies one of the few deep tech companies globally that leads the research and development in the nanotubes space. The company manufactures and sells high-quality single walled carbon nanotubes using proprietary methods known as HiPCO ®. These nanotubes are extremely small and strong, with a range of useful properties such as semi-conductivity, low density, and high conductivity. They have been used in a variety of applications, including Li-ion batteries, space, defence, and electronics. NoPo is currently scaling up production to meet the customer demands .
Job Overview:
As a finance manager at NoPo Nanotechnologies you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise in financial management , control, compliance and accounting will contribute to the success of the scale up , the company is embarking on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting : Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, reports, and budgets in compliance with accounting standards.
- Financial Control : Ensure strict financial control by implementing and maintaining robust internal control systems within the manufacturing and R&D environment.
- Cost Analysis : Monitor and analyse various costs specially towards R&D projects and operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving cost efficiency initiatives.
- Inventory Management : Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation, control, and regular reconciliation, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Budgeting : Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, collaborating with relevant departments to allocate resources effectively.
- Tax Compliance : Manage all tax-related matters ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and optimising tax strategies.
- Audit Coordination : Collaborate with external auditors for periodic financial audits, maintain internal controls, and ensure audit readiness.
- Risk Management : Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the financial stability of the company.
- Fund Raising : Support organization efforts in raising equity and debt including creation of financial projection, managing data room, responding to queries and others.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered accountant with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, and auditing principles
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, prefer Zoho
- Prefer candidates with experience in biotech or manufacturing setup
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
