Your Business: Technology (BU) is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.
Your Team: The Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) team's vision is to leverage analytics and information to enhance the financial wellbeing of our customers and to provide richer customer experiences. We provide a range of services to our internal customers across all business units of the Group including strategy, architecture, data science, business intelligence, engineering and program delivery.
You will be part of Analytics Products Domain within CDAO. The team is responsible to provide analytics tools and platforms to the Group.

As a Staff Systems Engineer within Analytics Domain, your key accountabilities include: - Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and systems necessary for efficient MLOps including model deployment/monitoring/orchestration.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for ML usecases to ensure efficient and automated model deployment.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build robust ML pipelines that can handle large datasets and traffic.
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to track model performance, data drift, and system health.
- Maintain security adherence and compliance standards, including data privacy and model explainability.
- Ensure clear and comprehensive documentation of MLOps processes, infrastructure, along with configurations.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps, to ensure smooth model deployment and operations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the MLOps team.
We are interested in hearing from people who have: - Software engineering or equivalent IT degree
- 12+ years of experience as a System Engineer with a focus on software/infrastructure platform development, management and operations
- Expertise in any languages like Python, Scala, Java etc..
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, TF Serving, Feature Store and MLflow.
- Strong experience in CI/CD tools (e.g Git/GitHub, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus, Jenkins, etc.)
- Strong Experience in automating repetitive tasks using Ansible, Python, shell scripting, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong Experience in AWS
Must Have: Python/ Scala/ Java.
Docker & Kubernetes.
CI/CD tools (e.g Git/GitHub, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus, Jenkins, etc.)
Ansible, Python, shell scripting.
Strong Experience in AWS
