Designation: VP - Dealer Development Industry: 2W Automobile Experience: 15+years Work Location: Delhi, India
Key Responsibilities: Dealer Network Expansion: Develop and execute strategies for expanding the dealer network in alignment with company objectives. Identify potential markets and locations for new dealerships based on market analysis. Dealer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Provide ongoing support, training, and communication to dealers to enhance their performance. New Business Development: Conduct market research to identify potential dealership partners and evaluate their suitability. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to attract new dealers and facilitate onboarding. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of each dealership against key performance indicators. Implement improvement plans and provide necessary support to underperforming dealerships. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and finalize dealership agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to create mutually beneficial contractual agreements. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide regular reports and insights on market dynamics and potential opportunities. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for dealers on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure dealers are well-versed in the latest product offerings. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. Proven experience in dealer network development in the automotive industry. Strong understanding of market dynamics and dealer management. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to travel extensively to meet with dealers and assess market conditions. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
