J OB TITLE :

Sr. Manager – Customer/Trade Marketing

QUALIFICATION: M.B.A / 5 years of Work Experience

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

This role is responsible for all brand related strategic thinking & interventions at the National Level by designing and implementing image building activities with the objective to drive sales through various marketing interventions like consumer activations, brand visibility and events leading to brand awareness and top of the mind recall for Popular Business Portfolio The role will ensure seamless planning of the A&P budgets in line with the projected vol. trajectory & Re-investment rates to support marketing interventions. Will partner with National brand, National Commercial & leadership teams to ensure buildup of most efficient Commercial Business Plans in line with organisation’s five year strategy

JOB SUMMARY: Jointly develop a robust and executable activity calendar for brands, leading collaboration with commercial and Brand teams, identifying the right opportunities & devising the plans to win Market share Execute TTL calendar, ranging from ideation to conceptualization to execution of On-premise and Off-premise consumer promotions – by working with internal regional teams, as well as external agencies and stakeholders Preparing Brand wise annual in-store execution and merchandising strategy, in line with the brand activation calendar. Lead the Annual Budget planning for TTL investments, by channel x cluster; to drive best ROI from planned spend Have joint ownership with RCMM & RCMH’s of volume and NSV deliveries of the respective portfolio’s and brands, jointly leading risk-opportunity analysis, plan development and smooth partnering with on ground execution teams Lead generation of shopper insights with National planning team and understand trends thoroughly, feeding these into brand and commercial plans as and when required. Assessing portfolio gaps basis consumption occasions, shopper and consumer needs and strategize over relevant portfolio diversity/extensions. Drive the tracking and evaluation of performance across all activation for the brand across markets Own development of strong, compelling “selling” stories for our consumers and field teams to build confidence in the campaigns. Monitor trade marketing SOPs & Ways of working with respect to market execution to ensure adherence to internal guidelines and consistent seamless execution in the market.

EXPEREINCE

Must have experience and successful track record with Brand/ Trade Marketing for min. 5 years. Experience in Sales function is desirable. Desirable experience in FMCG/Alcobev industry Ability to manage agency relationships to maximize impact of spends and evaluate ROI. Ability to manage cross functional relationship with stakeholders.
