Apply by 04 April 2024Key Responsibilities:
❖ Anchor critical research, narrative building exercises and events for the Sustainable Energy led Climate Action Program
❖ Keep abreast with trends and narratives emerging in the sector and plan for organization activities accordingly
❖ Develop and implement an effective communication strategy for dissemination of critical learnings and absorption of best practices and narratives across the sector
❖ Anchor and deliver on new and innovative ways to communicate key narratives, concepts, processes and approaches for improved uptake within the organization and outside
❖ Ensure coordination with other teams within the organization to ensure implementation of the ecosystem approach and cross-learning
❖ Conduct regular team meetings internally, to monitor key milestones and also update all members on best practices and continuing expectations and vision
❖ Design and manage partnerships, developing long term strategic plans for each
❖ Design and plan for regular blogs, newsletters and updates to inform the sector on the Organization’s key learnings
Who should apply:
❖ At least 6 years experience in the social impact sector, with at least 1-2 years of work experience in programs or research focussing on climate action
❖ The candidate should have experience in journalistic research, coalition or network building in the development sector
❖ The candidate should have an interest in issues around climate change, sustainability, from a ground perspective is preferred
❖ The candidate should have experience in conducting landscape studies through primary consultations, building on case studies and building dissemination strategies
❖ Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
❖ Experience in connecting conceptual approaches and narratives with ground realities ❖ The candidate should have strong communication skills, both written and oral
❖ The candidate should have experience in processing complex information and break it down for easy consumption
❖ The candidate should have showcased the ability to grasp audience sensibility and calibrate communications to resonate with different target audiences
❖ Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
