Job Title: Senior Manager : Direct tax litigation Location: Gurugram / Hyderabad Mode of Work: Work from Office Experience: Eight years post CA qualification in a client facing service/consulting industry Job Description Strategizing tax litigation Explore alternative tax dispute resolution avenues. Representations before the AO, TPO,CIT(A), DRP and Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT). Holds knowledge of Transfer pricing provisions covering litigation and compliances Leading in the preparation of advance ruling applications and providing support for representation before the Authority for Advance Ruling Leading in in drafting and presenting applications to the competent authority for Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) under the tax treaties. Ability to independently analyse and interpret provisions under the Income Tax Act and provisions pertaining to International Tax, dealing with interpretation of Tax Treaties. Thorough knowledge of Direct Tax, Corporate Tax (Income Tax & DTAA), Corporate Law & International Tax, FEMA and Transfer Pricing. Updating clients on on-going matters on a prompt and regular basis, keeping track of industry developments. Ability to write articles and legal content Profile requirements Thorough knowledge of Direct Tax, Corporate Tax (Income Tax & DTAA), Corporate Law & International Tax, FEMA and Transfer Pricing Excellent communication and drafting skills 7-8 years of post-qualification experience in Direct tax litigation with top firms Research-oriented and a problem solver Location: Gurgaon This is an immediate requirement.
