Areas of Exposure / Work Background:
- Experience in Valve Industry - preferred
- Exposure in Foundry, Forge Shop processes
- Exposure in ASTM/ASME codes and standards
- Exposure in Welding Processes (SMAW, PTAW, SAW, TIG Processes)
- SAP R3 Exposure in Quality Control Module
JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary:
- Product Inspection, Testing and Final Product acceptance as per customer requirement
- Non Destructive Evaluation and Qualification at various stages of mfg.
- Control of Non-Conforming Products
- Corrective and Preventive Actions thro investigation, analysis and audits
- Vendor Evaluation, Re-evaluation and approval (Sub contract and Bought Out components)
- Auditing of Processes and Products
- Updating, as necessary, of Quality Control Inspection and Testing techniques including the development of new instrumentation
- Initiating action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product, process and Quality System and recommending solutions through designated channels
- Applying API monogram and CE marking
- Maintaining Product Identification, Traceability and status
- Identifying Training needs
Implementation of Quality Objectives and Continual Improvement
