  1. Job Purpose
  • Carry out Aircraft maintenance and certification as per defined regulatory and company standards.
  • Perform as technical functionary in Engineering Services

  1. Key Accountabilities

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Utilise the available manpower in the shift and ensure aircraft serviceability to meet operating schedule requirements.
  2. Carry out team briefing on the assigned aircraft.
  3. Plan and rectify observed discrepancies on the aircraft to meet Airworthiness and company standards.
  4. Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance work, as required.
  5. Ensure AMOS and related documentation is updated.
  6. Coordinate with station - incharge for manpower and equipment planning.
  7. Ensure that the individual's respective authorization remains valid at all time.
  8. Maintain and improve knowledge in respect to the aircraft, its system and equipment, the civil aviation requirement of India and company policy.
  9. Ensure awareness of company operating procedures and fully understand the Quality and technical reporting system.
  10. Mandatory occurrence reporting.
  11. Return of serviceable and unserviceable component back to stores.
  12. Ensure proper Shift Hand Over to the incoming shift.

Team Management
  • Guide, mentor and train the Junior staff
  • Support, nurture and develop the team members' skills
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Engineering Teams

  • Responsible for carrying out analysis for all technical delays in coordination with MCC, Engineering Services and maintain records.
  • Take appropriate action for improvement

External Interfaces

DGCA Representatives

  • Coordinate with DGCA representatives over various regulatory requirements

G. Educational and Experience Requirements

Min. Education Qualification

  • 10+2 (PCM) or Equivalent

Min. Professional Qualification

  • B1 Stream - All modules (applicable) of DGCA modular examination
  • B2 Stream - All modules (applicable) of DGCA modular examination + RT license

Experience

Minimum

Desired

  • 2 years of hands-on Maintenance Experience on Transport Category aircraft in a scheduled airline.

  • 3 years on Narrow Body (A320 Family) and/or on Wide Body (B777 & B787).
