What youll do
Strong curiosity for decentralized networks and crypto assets and a willingness to learn
4+ years of experience as an Analyst or in a similar role with Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent SQL (preferably PostgreSQL ) skills and experience in Python and its open-source data science ecosystem (pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, jupyter notebooks, )
Solid understanding of statistical methods and experience in data mining and munging, and machine learning
Have hands-on experience with any of the product analytics and BI tools like Amplitude, Google Analytics, Looker, PowerBI, and Tableau
Experience with data instrumentation, schema designs, data structures, etc.
Basic understanding of how blockchains operate and their underlying data structures
Familiarity with the concepts such as cryptography, consensus, hash functions, distributed ledgers, smart contracts, gas fees, and any other concepts integral to understanding blockchain's inner workings would be an added advantage
Extracting and scrutinising the plethora of available data about public Blockchain transactions and crypto assets to facilitate better decision making and provide actionable insights to business and for end users
Understanding the core blockchain market insights and trends, including DeFi, DEXs, blockchain scaling solutions, airdrops, hacks and stable coins. Analysis include transaction volumes, block details, price correlation, exchange inflows and outflows, user adoption, and more
Maintaining and developing blockchain metrics, chain monitoring, Smart Contract metrics, DeFi swamps and related metrics. Create new metrics and insights that will shape our product offering.
Working with data engineering team to maintain data pipelines that ultimately shape and enrich our product offering
Develop new methodologies to generate high-quality data from raw blockchain data, e.g. for address clustering, flow characterization, or pattern detection
Visualize and communicate the research output and work with our content team to create content and articles and share insights with our users
Stay in tune with current developments in the crypto space and independently identify promising research directions
Enhance trading strategies and predict Future Market Movements by monitoring investor behavior and network health
Providing Analytical recommendations to influence our DeFi product, marketing and strategy
Design and evaluate product and growth experiments backed by solid hypotheses. Build and deploy machine learning models wherever necessary
Providing user insights through data: cohorts analysis, user segmentation, funnels and behavioral analyses in partnership with growth, product, engineering, CX and UX for our DeFi products
Thus, providing crypto intelligence for the future of finance

Should also be familiar with the various types of data structures, such as graphs, heaps, hash trees, Patricia trees and Merkle trees.
