Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales personnel to join our team in Construction. As a salesperson you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets for our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in the construction and mining industry.
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities and customer leads.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
Product Knowledge:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's product portfolio/offering.
- Provide expert knowledge to clients on product specifications and benefits.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in drilling technology.
Technical Expertise:
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate drilling solutions based on project requirements.
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients during the sales process.
- Collaborate with the technical team to offer custom solutions when needed.
Sales Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition and advantages of company's product portfolio/offering
- Address client inquiries and objections effectively.
Quoting and Proposals:
- Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations and proposals for clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to secure sales agreements.
Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, including client interactions, quotations, and sales progress.
- Provide regular sales reports to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience of 5 year & above in sales, preferably in the construction and mining industry.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- A valid driver's license.
