Position Overview
Job Title: Oracle Developer Location : Pune Role Description The area caters to Credit Risk management function for the bank. This area is responsible to assess Credit Risk, Manage exposure to risk across various counterparty portfolios, setting up portfolio strategies and overall risk appetite, assign credit ratings to the counterparties, Manage and monitor credit Limits across various dimensions and also provide inputs to create regulatory risk reports.We are in the journey of building a Strategic platform 'GCRS', which will be used by entire bank for various credit risk management tasks across all categories. The platform is an integrated application covering end to end credit risk workflow, automated in-system workflow, quality controlled data, enable multitasking on screen and enable adding future functionalites.The entire technology suite stack are Java,Oracle,AngularJS [UI],Spring. In terms of tooling and framework we are using TeamCity, Jenkins, Cucumber, Liquibase, Jama, uDeploy, OpenShift, SonarCube and SAFe Agile to name a few.

Position Specific Responsibilities And Accountabilities - This is individual contributor role working on technologies like Oracle and Unix
- Design and develop applications (data analysis; database modelling; build databases, tables and views to support Credit Risk reporting).
- Design and develop ETL processes using Oracle techniques.
- Building, deploying and testing automation; assisting testing team during testing phase.
- Good understanding of highly disciplined configuration management (branch, tag, release packaging strategy).
- Actively participating in improving technical design discipline within the team working alongside Team leads and Solution Architects.
- Work with our clients to deliver value through the delivery of high quality software within an agile development lifecycle.Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
Experience/ Exposure Mandatory skills Technical Must Have:
- 6+ years of experience in the IT industry with hands-on development in Oracle12C, RDMS and Unix.
- Good hands on experience with Oracle PL/SQL(packages,UDF, window functions, hierarchical queries,procedures,cursor,collections,trigger)
- Deep understanding of performance tuning aspects like analysis of query plan,queriy hints, different kind of indices, partitioned tables, materialized views, gathering optimizer stats,.
- Previous experience working with multi-terabyte data warehouses / data marts, ideally Oracle.
- Experience in performance testing of large applications: Defining strategies for stress, concurrency and volume test and execution of those.
- Experience with distributed version control tool (Git, Github, BitBucket).
- Experience with any programming skills (Java Knowledge will be big plus)
- Educated to degree level in Computer / Data Science or equivalent qualification or work experience
- Hands on Experience on any of the ETL tool like Informatica/SSIS/Datastage/Pentaho.
Nice to Have:
- Data modelling - understanding of Modelling techniques. Data Vault knowledge a plus.
- Unix Scripting (Unix knowledge and basic shell scripting skills)
- Understanding of Sheduling tool like Control-M/Autosys/Tidal.
Domain Must Have:
- Risk technology experience [Credit risk]
- Understanding or one of the products(Equity,Fixed Income,Derivatives etc)
Nice to Have:
- familiarity with regulatory guidelines around credit risk/ counter party risk under BASEL 2 and 3.
- Exposure to Trade life cycle
Soft-Skills Must Have: - Very strong analytical skills
