Lead technical projects that streamline, automate, and scale our business applications at Commvault. You are expected to help drive the strategy and execution of a business applications roadmap within our business operations. Advise a team of business systems analysts, manage executive stakeholders, and drive meaningful improvements through an agile development methodology. This position reports to the Senior Director, Business Applications.
Lead a diverse team of business systems analysts responsible for Human Resources and Legal applications.
Develop strategic relationships with executive partners to define, prioritize, and help implement our go-to-market strategy and customer journey objectives through our business applications. Handle priorities and demands in collaboration with senior partners from various backgrounds.
Cultivate external relations, encouraging partnerships with consulting partners or vendors to enhance our business operations. Collaborate closely with PMO, Enterprise Architecture, & Development teams on IT-related projects, ensuring their timely delivery and high quality.
Take a hands-on approach for select strategic projects, involving yourself in defining business requirements, application configuration, testing, training, and enablement.
Drive project teams through the design and definition of business processes, ensuring that technology serves as an empowering tool rather than merely a solution.
Lead all project delivery processes, including resource allocation, progress tracking, issue resolution, and adoption and change management.
Promote operational excellence, stability, and scalability through adherence to strict change control and best practices for project management, issue mitigation, stakeholder management, data governance, and release management.
Implement consistent best practices across the group, fostering an inclusive culture of collaboration and standardized documentation and processes.
Foster the development and growth of team members, ensuring that all personnel have equal opportunities for development and efficient operation.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a business systems analyst and 3+ years of management experience, or proven leadership capabilities in a team environment.
Configuration/administration experience with Workday is a must.
Good communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in problem-solving.
Experience with Agile software development or similar methodologies, promoting flexibility and adaptability in project execution.
Certifications related to business analysis or project management are preferred.
Professional services/consulting experience is preferred, providing valuable insight into client-centric solutions and industry best practicesPrior experience working in the software industry is preferred.
