Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Chennai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll processing, financial statement preparation, and audits. They will also analyze financial data and provide guidance to the management team to ensure the financial health of the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, finance, and taxation
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, and regulations
• Experience in preparation of financial statements and audits
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Post Graduate in Finance & Accounting is preferred
• Experience in healthcare or hospital industry is a plus
• Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA is a plus
