Job description
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work independently with Product management, Development, and Specialist groups to resolve complex technical issues.
- Utilize strong technical aptitude on a daily basis with experience in Windows Based Operating Systems, .NET applications, SQL Server, and IIS
- L3 support - diagnosis, investigation, resolution, coordination with business, application owners, infrastructure support.
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD).
- Debugging and troubleshooting code related issues / defects.
- Incident management and root cause analysis.
- Generate knowledge documentation as required.
- Provide release support for code deployments.
- Provide technical support to L1/L2 groups, assist in resolving end user issues.
- Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members.
- Participate in shift rotation with other team members (India & UK Shift).
Required Skills - Minimum 2 years work experience in Application support
- Proficient in IIS, PowerShell, Windows Batch scripting and Jenkins for CI/CD.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good Analytical Skills
- Working experience in Application Support of .NET based applications including SLA compliance
Desired Skills - Knowledge of Web services (Soap/REST)
- Good knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, SQL, Python
- Working Knowledge of UNIX platforms
- Good technical and practical documentation skills
- Good understanding of ITIL Process
- Stakeholder Management Skills
- Any cloud platform certification is an added advantage.
- Ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously to a high standard in a global and dynamic environment
