Job Title: Electrical Manager Head of Department (HOD)

Location: Bardawan District West Bengal

Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Electrical Manager to join our team as the Head of the Electrical Department (HOD) in our Ethanol Production Plant located in Bardawan District West Bengal. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a leadership role within the electrical engineering field preferably in the same industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Departmental Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership as the Head of the Electrical Department overseeing the planning execution and optimization of all electrical engineering activities within the plant.
   

2. Project Management: Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conceptualization to completion ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
   

3. Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
   

4. Budgetary Oversight: Develop and manage departmental budgets ensuring efficient utilization of resources and costeffectiveness in electrical engineering projects and maintenance activities.
   

5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with electrical codes safety regulations and industry standards. Implement measures to enhance the safety and reliability of electrical systems.
   

6. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance in troubleshooting complex electrical issues optimizing system performance and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
   

7. Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including production maintenance and safety to achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
   

8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical designs project plans maintenance activities and compliance documentation. Prepare reports for senior management.
   

9. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of longterm electrical engineering strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
   

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
   
2. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role within a similar industry.
   
3. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles codes and standards.
   
4. Proven experience in project management budgeting and team leadership.
   
5. Excellent communication interpersonal and decisionmaking skills.
   
6. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
