Job description
The Safety and Security Coordinator will be stationed at Corporate office. He plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety and security across PAN India warehouses The primary purpose of this role is to establish and maintain effective communication channels with security and safety heads/SPOC’s at each warehouse location, ensuring the implementation of robust safety and security measures. The Safety and Security Coordinator will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to develop and enforce policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance the overall safety and security standards across all warehouses. Understanding the HSE Requirements at WH & coordinate with regional HSE Analyze and report the HSE Compliance Status Drive Managers to meet HSE Goals Implement system for HSE Management Update management on WH HSE Compliance CD 3800 implementation in Pan India WHs HSE audit and close looping of Open points. HSE legal and compliance review. Ensure all WHs are audited for statutory parameters. Ananlyze the audit results for risk factors Update Management on compliance status MIS - Collating, Publishing and driving the root cause/corrective actions. Organizing and driving the recurring meetings with LSPs. Support SOP revision and creation of work instructions LSP training co-ordination Deliverables Meet the company's defined safety and security requirements at WH. Complete the security and safety audits as per schedule. Close loop Audit observations. Drive continuous improvement with 10% savings year on year.
Educational qualification Graduation or Equivalent in any discipline Technology Landscape Skillset Basic knowledge in MS Office, MS Excel Preferable Power Bi tool Good in English & Hindi Communication Occupation, Health and Safety or a related field Relevant certificate in Safety and Security Management Broad Knowledge of HIRA. Desirable skills Basic knowledge in warehousing Minimum 1 year of Experience in similar profile In depth understanding of safety and security regulations applicable to WHs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with diverse LSP Managers and Corporate team.Job tags
