Job Title - Senior DevOps Engineer Job location - Baner, Pune
About the company : A pioneering Identity SecOps provider that arms identity and cybersecurity teams with end-to-end, real-time identity security posture management and threat detection. Its is designed to secure identity and access in any cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure), as well as on-premises or data centres. Product It discovers and monitors any identity that enterprise employees use to connect to any asset, anywhere, anytime. The Identity SecOps Platform enables SecOps to address the most dangerous enablers of identity-based attacks: blind spots, identity infrastructure security gaps, and misconfigurations caused by human error. It allows security orgs to become enablers for engineering and business teams to move faster as they adopt new cloud and SaaS tooling. The product is heavily driven by data analytics as well as AI/ML (in the near future). The core idea is to analyze events & logs from enterprise systems & networks to enable the use cases we are trying to solve in the area of identity & access security. Position Overview As a Senior DevOps Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of our organization by championing best practices in infrastructure automation, continuous integration, and deployment. You will have end-to-end ownership of designing, implementing, and optimizing robust and scalable systems. The role offers an exciting opportunity to lead initiatives that drive efficiency, innovation, and the overall success of our technology stack. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including QA, UI, Development, IT/Ops, and non-engineering stakeholders, is integral to this role. Responsibilities ● Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent. ● Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. ● Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment, ensuring reliability and speed in software delivery. ● Maintain and enhance the existing IaC scripts to ensure efficient provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components. ● Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain security best practices. ● Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to infrastructure and deployment processes. ● Administer and optimize Linux and/or Windows systems to ensure high availability and performance. ● Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address challenges promptly. ● Configure and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems. ● Analyze logs and metrics to proactively identify and address potential issues. ● Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker. ● Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes, Nomad or similar platforms. ● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our technology stack remains current and competitive. Requirements ● Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a senior capacity of at least 6 years in an enterprise-grade environment. ● Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols. ● Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). ● Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. ● Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). ● In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). ● Strong expertise in IaC tools (e.g., Terraform) ● Experience with micro-services deployments (e.g., k8s, Nomad/Consul) ● Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. ● Strong communication and collaboration skills. ● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Job tags
