RRD Go Creative, experts in providing marketing, packaging, print and supply chain solutions is on the look-out for Storyboard artists for our creative communication division.
Job details - Experience: 3+ years Work Location: Teynampet, Chennai Shifts - Rotational timings( No complete night shift) Experience: Min – 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Storyboarding Expertise in hands drawn and digital Position Description: Storyboard Artist Essential Qualifications: Degree in animation, fine arts or related field. Knowledge in 2D animation. Technical Qualifications: Ability to draw people, objects, actions, and environments legibly and efficiently with various styles and genres Skills in both hand drawing and computer drawing Understanding of principles of animation and strong visual storytelling skills to bring a script to life prior to production Must have exposure to the video industry Ability to collaborate effectively with motion graphics designers,, art directs and clients to visualize the story Ability to interpret the ideas of others into detailed drawings Experience in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge Adobe After Effects would be an added advantage Key Responsibilities: Sequencing the scenes from a script into storyboard format using panels of images Including special effects in the storyboard frames Capacity to work alone or a group of artists/designers to meet the demands of the client To maintain a structured, well organized work-flow facilitating a smooth handover of files to colleagues in the next shift Apply effective and timely project management tools to handle multiple concurrent projects Continuously build personal knowledge in storyboard, style of illustrations, etc. Briefing animators on key scenes within the storyboard Amending storyboard scenes during the course of production Key Competencies: Liaising with animators,studio managers and art directors regarding the look, style, and level of detail required for the storyboard of each production Reading and interpreting scripts Need to communicate well and understand the client’s requirement Capable of working on tight deadlinesJob tags
