Job description
- Part of the ComLIMS Release team (3 persons) and be involved mainlyin the release process management in the realm of the ComLIMS ADMS solutions portfolio.
- Be the operation partner of ComLIMS Devevelopment team and provide operation related services.
- Involved in ComLIMS operation projects.
- Involved in projects of transition to operation teams.
- Joining an IT team in Bangalore and always in contact with teams in the other locations(as One Team in Belgium, India, Ireland and China).
- Involve in ComLIMS Release Deployment and Configuration evolution
The Candidate is expected to:
- Contribute specifically on the following technical activities upon priorities defined by Team Manager:
- Contribute in ComLIMS projects with Eurofins Operations teams, be involved in projects and communication with Team Manager.
- Contribute the the maintenance of System and Architectural documentation in the scope of ComLIMS AERO Team
- Act as part of ComLIMS L3 support team
- Provide some periodical and/or emergency support (i.e. on-call service).
- Provide operation related supports as Operation Partner to ComLIMS Application Scrum Teams .
- Embrace more generally:
- high quality practices and processes in order to guarantee excellent state and smooth transitions for ComLIMS progams in all environments (development to production).
- high quality engineering and guidelines of the target solutions,
- Agile practices and well-known modelisation practices such as UML
- Carry out ComLIMS Release Preparation and Deployment Tasks. Ensure the Release Tasks can be completed on time with high quality and satify business users.
- Maintain ComLIMS ADMS Release Calendar
- Work closely with Release leader to adapt work items backlog according to the change and priority
- Release:
- Coordinate with other Team members to identify the root cause and provide solution for post deployment issues
- Provide support to AERO related activities such as Internal QA issues, production incident etc. Act as L3 member of ComLIMS.
Specific assignments:
- Maintain up to date the ComLIMS Components library and CMDB describing each platform (development/ testing, QA/UAT, production etc.)
- Handle platform deployment and configuration automation.
- Support ComLIMS Release Deployment across environments (Qualification, Training and Production)
- Work on configuration and procedures for the various steps of the platform lifecycle (provisioning, prerequisites, deployment/upgrade, monitoring and support).
- Ensure the required tasks and support will be aligned with ComLIMS Operation Guideline and Best practices.
- Create and maintain level 3 technical and operational documentation that describes the situation and ensure that documentation of processes is aligned.
- Provide ComLIMS L3 support for deployment and configuration related issues. Ensure superior quality.
OTHER ASSIGNMENTS :
- Ensure follow-up to Site Manager and Team Manager on a regular basis and as often as requested.
- Acquire rapidly a working knowledge of Eurofins EurIS systems, starting with ComLIMS, underlying concepts and models, as well as the processes and practices of the team.
- Deepen that knowledge on a continuous basis, guided by the most pressing needs of assigned functions.
- Develop appropriate working relationships with IT and non-IT target groups in Eurofins. Actively support reuse and sharing within the wider EurIS community.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Technical knowledge :
- 6-8 years experience in driving releases covering all aspects of communication, co-ordination and deployment
- Knoweldge/Experience of CMDB (Configuration Management)
- Knowledge/Experience of Microsoft Azure Cloud is a must.
- Knowledge/Experience of SaaS or PaaS or IaaS is a must.
- Knowledge/Experience of PowerShell or bash or python is a must.
- Knowledge/Experience of docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
- Knowledge/Experience of SQL (e.g., MySQL or oracle or Sqlserver), NOSql (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus
- Database), System architecture, platform blueprints, software configuration, Operations activities (procurement, installation, monitoring and support etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge/Experience of Octopus is a plus.
- Knoweldge/Experience of UML is a plus.
- Knoweldge/Experience of scripting (VTL, powershell, etc.) is a plus.
- Knoweldge/Experience of ASP.NET(Framework 3.5/4.0). Mvc 3 or above, WebApi is a plus.
- Knoweldge/Experience with Visual Studio environment is a plus
- Knoweldge/Experience of SQL or even T-SQL is a plus
- Knoweldge/Experience of SOA and/or messaging middleware is a plus
