Job description

Job Context:

Responsible for managing and supporting the assessment of organizational needs and the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate organization current and future readiness with respect to capabilities, talent and culture

Key Anchors

Key Responsibilities

  • Academy Architecture & Management:

Needs Assessment & Strategy:Conduct comprehensive needs assessments for different target groups within the organization,identifying skill gaps,knowledge deficiencies,and future workforce development needs.

Curriculum Design & Development:Lead the development of high-quality curriculum for academy programs,collaborating with subject matter experts,instructional designers,and business leaders to ensure content aligns with strategic objectives,industry trends,and learning best practices.

Program Launch & Execution:Oversee the smooth launch and execution of academy programs,managing logistics,scheduling,instructor selection,technology integration,and participant registration.

Build Functional Skill Directories in discussion with business in line with the evolving business realities and future challenges.

Evaluation & Reporting:Implement robust evaluation methods to track program effectiveness,measure learning outcomes,and identify areas for improvement.Compile data-driven reports and present findings to senior leadership,demonstrating the academy's impact on individual and organizational performance.

Continuous Improvement:Analyze feedback from participants and stakeholders,refine program content and delivery methods,and adapt the academy structure to ensure ongoing relevance and effectiveness.

  • Learning Design & Delivery:

Modality Expertise:Employ expertise in diverse learning modalities (e.g.,classroom training,e-learning modules,simulations,coaching,mentoring) to design engaging and effective learning experiences that cater to different learning styles and preferences.

Technology Integration:Leverage learning technology platforms and tools to enhance program delivery,facilitate online collaboration,and track learning progress.

Microlearning & Gamification:Incorporate microlearning principles and gamification elements to boost knowledge retention,increase engagement,and personalize learning journeys.

Content Curation & Sourcing:Identify and curate high-quality external learning resources and content to supplement academy programs and address specific learning needs.

  • Leadership Development & Talent Management:

Leadership Competency Framework:Design and implement leadership development programs based on a well-defined leadership competency framework,focusing on developing critical skills and behaviors for future leaders.

Individual Development Plans:Collaborate with high-potential individuals and their managers to create personalized development plans that leverage academy programs and other L&D resources to optimize career growth.

  • Operational Excellence & Administration:

Budget Management:Manage the academy's budget effectively,allocating resources efficiently to optimize program delivery and maximize return on investment.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:Ensure all academy programs and operations adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

Lead the development and delivery of training programs aligned with business objectives.

Stay current on emerging trends and best practices in L&D.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

MBA HR or PDGPM / PGDHRD having 12-15 years of experience

Master's degree in organizational development/organizational behavior. Related experience considered in lieu of education.

Work stints in more than 2 CoE areas or Business HR and CoE.
