Senior Content Writer
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in English (hons.), journalism or mass communications. (Master's degree a plus)
• 5+ years of proven success producing content preferably in the IT, Technology, B2B or SaaS products and services
• Tech-savvy with the ability to explain complex technical matters in a simple manner without using jargon
• Demonstrated SEO understanding and the ability to categorise and structure content
• Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to make informed decisions
• Must understand the basic best practices of prominent digital and social media channels
• Experience with Content Management Systems, Google Analytics and top social channels
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Write flawless and persuasive content in the form of articles, whitepaper, ebooks. sales collaterals, case studies, landing pages, videos, email marketing, newsletters, presentations, etc
• Work with marketing, global sales and leadership teams to build and run content /editorial calendar
• Manage content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement and leads that deliver sales and customer retention
• Optimize all content for SEO
• Collaborate with design and development teams to create innovative content assets
• Conduct online research and create content that resonates with audiences
• Edit and proofread content for consistency of brand voice and messaging.
