Program Manager – Business waste containment
Amazon is looking for a motivated individual for the profile of Program Manager for its loss/business waste containment team. The role is a part of the India Ops under the Reverse logistics program.
What this role is about
This role will work with the Ops (Fulfillment center, Middle Mile, Last mile), loss prevention team, category along with multiple tech teams to employ process improvements, technology to automate processes to reduce damages, concession losses. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful and customer-focused. They will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. In this position you will:
- Deep dive and analyze key business performance metrics, identify gaps, create plans to mitigate and drive to closure
- Own regular business reviews with leadership and operational teams to audit ongoing performance against key metrics and program goal
- Cross functional coordination and alignment
- Define new goals to measure the success of our program and drive health of the program
- Monitor and respond to stakeholder feedback.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication across all levels and teams in the organization: senior leaders, technical teams, finance, fulfillment, and business leaders.
This role calls an individual to showcase judgment and decision making skills to balance customer experience with financial impact. This position offers a broad exposure to various business, financial, and technical teams within Amazon.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bengaluru, KA, IND
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
