Title: Social Media Manager

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube etc.).

2. Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio/podcast) and ensure it aligns with the brand voice, tone, and style guidelines.

3. Monitor and engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop campaigns, promotions, and partnerships that drive social media goals and objectives.

5. Analyze social media metrics and insights to track performance, identify trends, and optimize content and strategies.

6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and incorporate them into the overall strategy.

7. Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, optimization, and reporting.

8. Maintain a social media content calendar and ensure timely and consistent posting across all platforms.

9. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform strategic decisions and stay ahead of the curve.

10. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute social media crisis management plans when necessary.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

2. Proven experience of at least 5-6 years as a social media manager or similar role, with a track record of successful social media campaigns and initiatives.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and creativity.

4. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.).

5. Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices across various platforms.

6. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.

7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

8. Experience in creating and optimizing social media advertising campaigns is a plus.

9. Knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing strategies is desirable.

10. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
