Job description
- Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with product, engineering and customer-facing teams to understand project requirements.
- Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write documentation.
- Review the drafts with stakeholders for quality content.
- Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience.
- Involve in UI copy reviews for the design team.
- Seek feedback from our customer-facing teams and contribute to improving our published content.
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement.
- Support the documentation team to meet the deadlines.
Requirements
- Min. 1-2 years of experience in technical writing.
- Certification in Technical Writing.
- Experience in writing documentation for various audiences.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Good knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SnagIt, WordPress, and other authoring tools
- Good understanding of the DDLC process and Writing Style Guide (MSTP).
- Knowledge of DITA is an added advantage.
