About The Client

The world's largest media investment company.We are currently looking to hire for an Head - Ecommerce . In this role, you will be responsible for consulting and building brands on Ecommerce for next phase of business growth.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to Chief Digital Officer, Mindshare

What Your Day Job Looks Like

  • You are the client's go-to eCommerce consultant. You will develop proposals around end-to-end retail to help the brands deliver strong performance and growth.
  • Be the bridge to drive collaboration and deliver on holistic retail principles, being the crux of external partnerships.
  • You will champion the importance of data-driven strategy. Identify gaps in performance, propose and test creative solutions, and measure performance to continuously add value to the space.
  • Apply insights and recommendations from proven best practice, while always considering fit and purpose for local consumers and marketplaces.
  • Help us think beyond just the obvious platforms. Present innovations and developments in the eCommerce space to key client stakeholders and outline potential new ways of working to enhance the eCommerce product and eCommerce Analytics proposition across their business.
  • Build effective working relationships with the Content & Analytics teams and wider Mindshare teams
  • Lead all ecommerce strategic initiatives, operational improvements and the implementation of digital traffic driving efforts
  • Develop marketplaces or DTC proposals when required, around end-to-end precision activation to store management, helping brands deliver strong performance and growth.
  • Apply insights and recommendations from proven best practice, while always considering fit and purpose for local consumers and marketplaces.
  • Review competitive landscape and identify trends, adjusting plans and activities based upon identified information
  • Work closely with key eCommerce marketplaces, and local eCommerce players to test new formats and innovations

What You'll Bring

  • Leadership experience in eCommerce roles but not only be a 'platform expert' or only experience in Retail Media.
  • Bring an in-depth understanding of performance marketing. In-depth practical and theoretical knowledge of Digital content and analytical techniques would be a strong advantage.
  • Prior experience in a media agency setting is not required, and we welcome candidates from the brand, publisher, and consultancy world.
  • Client-facing experience with the ability to both present to an audience in an articulate and engaging manner and develop one-on-one relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork.
  • Willing to challenge clients and colleagues based on proven case knowledge and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Management degree from a reputed business school along with degree in engineering/Statistics/ Economics at undergrad level
  • Must have worked in an Ecommerce business planning section helping clients/product teams to leverage the opportunity.
  • Must have worked on building Ecommerce GTM (go to market) strategy for clients and/or for own brands.
  • Must be well versed with data modelling concepts & techniques to offer relevant business solution married with Ecommerce industry.
