Researches and analyzes improvement opportunities, conducts analysis, prepares recommendations and facilitates efficiency enhancements. Develops business requirement documents and specifications. Works as directed by management team to research and document business issues involving workflow procedures and processes. Analyzes data and work with management to develop creative solutions.

You’ll:
- Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems/ dashboards.
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, dashboards, and performance indicators to locate and recommend corrections for process issues
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Execute and analyse customer feedback to evaluate customer experience
- Dive deep & recommend solutions to drive outcomes from root-cause analysis to uncover core issues through direct observation, facts, and data.
- Audit accounts, study customer escalations and develop a deeper understanding of customer concerns. Be sceptical when metrics and anecdote differ.
We believe you’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- 3-6 years working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
