Job description
As a BDE Trucking (Business Development Executive - Trucking), you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding the client base for a trucking dealership. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining relationships with potential clients in the transportation industry to generate new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the trucking industry. Research and target potential clients, including logistics companies, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand their business needs, provide solutions, and address any concerns or issues that may arise. Sales and Negotiation: Present the company's services and capabilities to potential clients. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business deals. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Analyze market data to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research. Follow up on leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into clients. Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients. Coordinate with internal departments to address client requirements and resolve any operational issues. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development progress. Prepare regular sales reports and provide management with updates on sales pipelines, targets, and achievements. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
