Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
1. Excellent Network Administration and Troubleshooting skills. 2. Operational experience on Cisco ACI/Spine leaf Architecture 3. Hands one experience with basic components of ACI fabric (Tenant, BD, VRF, APIC), Nexus DC technologies such as vPC, FabricPath, OTV, VXLAN 4. Hands one experience with ACI implementations being single site, multi-pod, network centric 5. Good Experience with Load Balancers 6. Develop, document and maintain the Network Service procedures to meet the requirements and update the physical/logical Network Design/Architecture Plan. 7. Knowledge and experience in VLAN, HSRP, STP, VTP and other switching technologies 8. Flexibility to work outside of Business Hours to support any critical issues 9. Knowledge on and ability to follow Incident, Request, Problem and Change Management Process. 10. Strong team player with a constructive perspective and commitment to the success of the business 11. Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities 12. Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams 13. Product knowledge: o Routing Protocols especially BGP, OSPF o Cisco Routers - 7200, 3800, 3600, 2800, 2900, 881 o Switches -- Nexus 7K/5K/2K, Cisco 6500/4500/3750/2960 o Firewalls -- Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Palo Alto o Load Balancers - F5, Netscalers o Cisco ACI/APIC
