About The Job
We are hiring a Tableau Business Intelligence (BI) developer to collaborate with the business and the Tech team. The BI developer's tasks will include developing technological solutions, establishing data storage tools and running tests.
You should have a thorough awareness of the business technology landscape, the ability to construct reports and excellent analytical abilities to be a successful Tableau Developer with us.
As our Business Intelligence Developer, you will have these main objectives:
- Create and develop Tableau Dashboards and analytics based on application requirements and business process expectations
- Communicate with business stakeholders, gathering needs and developing efficient Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and analytics dashboards
- Collaborate with our Tech team and business experts to implement data-driven policies and initiatives throughout the organisation
- Gather, clean and prepare data for analytics and visualisation
- Manage and use the Tableau platform to gain valuable insights
- Create reports using a variety of graphical and data modelling techniques
- Create new performance indicators and monitor them consistently in data-sets
- Gathering and normalising data from multiple data sources
- Create, test, and publish dashboards and reports, as well as schedule refreshes
- Define access controls and put security measures in place as needed
- Accurately drill deep into data and generate reports
- Designing wireframes and beta dashboards with an emphasis on user experience, consistency, and visibility
- Enhance the whole process of data management, collecting, dashboard design, and product life-cycle management
- Use algorithms and statistical approaches to extract information from data
- Troubleshooting any data or performance issues with workbooks and data sources
- Keep an eye on reports and dashboards and make any required modifications
- Oversee Tableau-powered installations, architecture and management
- Actively control Tableau's performance and usability to get the desired outcome

- Have a minimum of 2+ years of work experience in developing and operating Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics
- Possess the ability to query and show massive data sets while optimizing workbook performance
- Are able to decipher technical or dashboard structure and translate complicated business needs into technical specifications
- Are familiar with Tableau administration / architecture and have proven expertise in Tableau development (mandatory)
- Have a high-level proficiency in MS-Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
- Are knowledgeable of complex mathematical and statistical functions
- Have a firm grasp of SQL, relational database management systems, data modelling, and standardisation
- Excellent communication abilities, with precision and attention to detail
