Job description

• Lead the Production Activity for Moulding Plant.
• Daily Routine Management - Machine wise production tracking including OEE, FG plan, material availability, action on quality issues.
• Inventory management.
• Coordinating various initiatives of Manufacturing Excellence and monitoring actual implementation of improvements and ensuring that it is foolproof.
• Facilitate cross functional coordination for resolving issues; Engage with key customers to understand their concerns and complaints.
• Estimating costs and preparing budgets
• Ability to understand trends, real time data analysis and to take relevant cost effective production related decisions.
• Monitor the Production data ( Daily Production Report / OLE /OEE) drive corrections in case of significant deviations in order to achieve targeted production volumes as per the cost and quality targets.
• Ensure output meets quality standards
• Ability to understand and comply with the environment, Health and Safety parameters/standards applicable to the manufacturing industry.
• Optimum utilization of resources - man, machines, inventory for optimum defect-free production delivery
• Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
• Direct and guide team on departmental issues. Identify, groom, reward and develop high performers and future leaders and hand hold them in their career through developmental feedback.
• Set clear and objective goals for team and drive them towards the achievement in order to engage, retain and develop a committed and cohesive workforce.
• Team Management: Carrying out performance reviews of shift supervisors/ workmen & providing feedback on areas of improvements. Analyzing the need and accordingly fulfilling them to enhance their capability.
• Organize training to all operators for related issues.
• Maintain shop floor for any type of visit.
• Overall shift-wise co-ordination & functioning of production of all quality products as per plan.
• Responsible for entire molding & assembly.
• Ensure mold, machine & man safety in day to day working.
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

1. Proven experience as production head
2. Deep knowledge of production management especially in Injection Moulding and Assembly Line
3. Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
4. Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
5. Experience in reporting on key production metrics and having knowledge of 8D and 7 QC tools,
6. Knowledge of Lean management
7. Knowledge and work in TPM and TQM Methodology.
8. Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
9. Outstanding communication ability
10. Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
11. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
12. Knowledge of production, quality control, cost control, PPC, plant maintenance EHS, Excellence initiatives and Digital Initiatives
