Meshing (Structural) Generate high-quality finite element meshes (shell, solid, plastics etc) for automotive components and assemblies using HyperMesh and knowledge of ANSA software is a plus. Work closely with design and engineering teams to understand component geometry, material properties, and analysis requirements. Prepare and clean CAD geometry for meshing, including surface repair, defeaturing, and geometry simplification. Apply meshing best practices and techniques to ensure mesh quality, element quality, and numerical accuracy in simulation models. Perform mesh refinement and optimization to achieve desired levels of mesh density and accuracy while minimizing computational costs. Collaborate with structural analysts and simulation engineers to Develop and maintain meshing standards, guidelines, and best practices for automotive simulation projects & validate mesh quality and resolve mesh-related issues. Take full responsibility delivery of meshing activity to clients and provide technical support and training to junior engineers and new hires on meshing methodologies and HyperMesh/ANSA techniques. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3-6 years of professional experience in meshing using HyperMesh tool, preferably in the automotive industry. Proficiency in HyperMesh software for generating finite element meshes for structural and thermal analysis. Strong understanding of meshing principles, mesh topology, element types, and mesh quality metrics. Experience with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX) for geometry preparation and cleanup. EƯective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of other meshing software such as ANSYS/ANSA Meshing, Altair HyperWorks, or Abaqus CAE is a plus.
Req-2 Meshing (CFD) Generate high-quality finite element meshes for CFD simulations using meshing software tools such as ANSYS Fluent/ICEM CFD. Collaborate with engineers and scientists to understand simulation requirements, including geometry complexity, boundary conditions, and desired accuracy. Prepare and clean CAD geometry for meshing, including surface repair, mesh refinement, and geometry simplification as necessary. Apply best practices and cfd meshing techniques to ensure mesh quality, element quality, and numerical accuracy in simulation models. Optimize mesh density and resolution to achieve desired levels of accuracy while minimizing computational costs and runtime. Perform mesh sensitivity analyses and verification studies to validate mesh quality and assess the impact on simulation results. Troubleshoot meshing issues and resolve geometry-related problems to ensure successful completion of CFD simulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including design engineers, analysts, and software developers, to support product development projects. Stay abreast of advances in meshing software, CFD methodologies, and engineering simulation techniques, and recommend improvements to enhance our capabilities. Document meshing procedures, best practices, and lessons learned to establish guidelines for future projects and facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) meshing, preferably in an engineering or research environment. Proficiency in meshing software tools such as ANSYS Fluent/ICEM cfd or similar. Strong understanding of CFD meshing principles, mesh topology, element types, and mesh quality metrics. Experience with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX) for geometry preparation and cleanup. Knowledge of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and numerical methods used in CFD simulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving meshing issues. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal/no supervision. Take full responsibility delivery of CFD meshing activity to clients and provide technical support and training to junior engineers and new hires on meshing methodologies and ANSYS Fluent/ICEM CFD techniquesJob tags
