Role Description

The Head of Department - Human Resource will be responsible for fulfilling all immediate and future vacancies, frame HR Policy 2.0, reduce attrition, manage the HR ERP efficiently, MIS reporting, etc.

HR HOD would also be responsible for improving employee productivity and manage a total personnel strength of about 200 People.

Candidates with knowledge of Human Psychology may have an edge.

The candidate is expected to conduct telephone and In-person interviews, with an impeccable ability to shortlist the right candidates, which will speed up the recruitment process and help save critical time.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Human Resource Department located in Guwahati. The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's human resource strategy, policy, and programs. The Head of Human Resource Department will work closely with the executive team and department heads to develop and execute HR strategies that promote a high-performance culture and positively impact business results.

Qualifications

• To discuss and define the Pain areas related to HR Department and subsequent action for relief
• Formulate the Hiring list and full-fill the vacancies
• Designing and implementing company policies that promote a healthy work environment
• Manpower planning, recruitment, payroll, and dispute settlements as per to labour law, Factory rules & compliance guidelines.
• Attendance and Time management through the Biometric Machines connected to the Cloud System and daily absentee and other reports
• Maintain employee benefits administration such as leave records, advances, insurance, medical, etc.
• Provide reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
• Developing compensation and benefits plans
• Setting objectives for the HR team and tracking progress
• Strategy for personnel welfare and improving overall employee satisfaction
• Thorough knowledge of all acts and prevalent with respect to Labour Laws, Factories Act, EPF, ESI, Etc
• Proven track record in developing, implementing, and leading HR policy and programs
• Strong understanding of local laws and regulations related to HR management in India
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in HR ERP, HR Analytics, and Microsoft Office tools
• Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative HR practices that drive change and improvement
• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
• Experience in manufacturing sector is a plus

Educational Qualification:

MBA or relevant qualification in HR/ PGDM in HR

Experience: Minimum 10 Years in the Human Resource Field
