SAP Basis - Project/Progam Manager (L3)
Responsibilities Working on SAP programs like - Upgrade / Migration / conversion / any project driving from SAP Basis perspective
Develop and prepare program roadmap / timeline / budgeting / dependecny between teams
Engage the required teams during the program / project preparation and align the task and owenship
As part of project deliverables, ensure optimal availability, integrity, reliability, maintainability, security and performance of the SAP systems
Work with SAP application teams and other Third Parties to integrate SAP and non SAP SaaS, PaaS and other cloud-based solutions, including conducting SaaS and PaaS release reviews to identify, document and assess impacts of SaaS and PaaS releases
Project delivery should be aligned with the operation support. HOTS to the BAU support should be conducted with the required documentations
Follow SAP recommendations for SAP project / program deployments
Work with customer to get the exact requirement and build SOW with customer and getting the same signedoff
Manage and coordinate all activity work integration between SAP application and SAP Basis teams, including through the plan, deliver, run life cycle (e.g., communications, planning, scheduling, transition to operations)
Skill Requirements 10+ years of handson experience in SAP Basis / HANA
4+ years of end ot end project management from SAP Basis/Technical perspective
Experience on any Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, Google, etc).
Experience with SAP systems such as S4HANA, SAP Business Suite, SAP Analytics products ( Eg.ECC, BW, BPC, Business Objects) SAP Mobility, SCP, and its architecture.
Should have worked on design & architecting Migration or Implementation.
Strong experience in Lift & Shift, Cloud Infrastructure & Security.
Candidate should have Hands-on experience with SAP System Installation, Upgrade, Patching, SAP OS/DB migration w/o SUM-DMO, System Performance and downtime optimization,
Mandatory to have experience in Migrating the SAP On-Premise Solutions to Cloud.
Strong experience with SAP Basis Administration
Good to have experience with SAP infrastructure design (compute, storage and networking)
Candidate should have experience in SAP Backup and Recovery.
Hands-On Experience in SAP High Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures.
Experience in SAP system upgrade, enhancement, security pack & support packages implementation.
Hands-on implementation experience with SAP on the cloud.
The ideal candidate should have experience managing highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale large SAP deployments.
Strong deep-dive troubleshooting and resolution skills.
Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of SAP applications, infrastructure, and security.
Integration of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) with on-premise technologies from SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.
Experience in Unix/Linux (SUSE/RHEL), Windows, SAP HANA, Oracle, MSSQL Server, and DB2 administration
Soft Skilss Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
Good documentation skills
Should have a great customer handling skills
Able to handle unforeseen situations
High level of acceptance
Can drive HCL s value and its methodology
Advantage/Other Skills / Experience Worked on Production systems
Datacentre understanding
Good knowledge in underlying databases (Oracle/SQL/Sybase/DB2/HANA).
Good knowledge in underlying infrastructure (Storage/Network etc.)
Understandign of Cluster Technologies
knowledge of Azure Database Paas, AWS RDS, Public and Private cloud Provider and their services
Years of Experience '10-12 Years of experience in SAP Basis/HANA '
Certification Requirement SAP Certification will be prefered
