Job description
Quality Assurance Planning : Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures. Define quality standards and specifications for products or services.
Quality Control : Monitor and inspect production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Conduct regular product inspections to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions. Use statistical methods and data analysis to identify trends and patterns that may impact quality. Conduct the line audits to ensure comapliance with Quality standards. Raise the NC's to production floor and to ensure clouser on the immediate basis. (Make sure the same issue should not be repeated). Raise the NC's of FQC and share to production team (LQC) for closure. (Make sure the same issue should not be repeated). Collaborate with other departments such as production, design & engineering, technical and supply chain to ensure a holistic approach to quality.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, tests, and audits (Internal, Customer, UL & ISO 9001). Prepare and present daily, weekly, monthly quality reports to management and other stakeholders. Improvement of FPY with action plans (based on QI reports)
Root Cause Analysis : Investigate and analyze the root causes of internal, external quality issues and defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. 2.6 Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with Internal / External suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials or components. Conduct supplier audits and assessments.
Training and Education : Provide training and certification to employees on quality standards, processes, and procedures. Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that the organization complies with relevant industry standards and regulations. Stay updated on changes in quality standards and regulations.
Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments related to product quality and develop mitigation plans. Work with teams to anticipate and address potential quality issues.
Customer Feedback and Satisfaction : Monitor customer feedback and complaints related to quality. Work on continuous improvement based on customer feedback.
Testing and Validation : Develop and execute test plans for products or services. Validate that products meet design and performance specifications. (Batch 0 and NC closure with respective team/ function)
Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with other departments such as production, design & engineering, technical and supply chain to ensure a holistic approach to quality.
